This straightener is AWESOME! I have used this flat iron on my 3C/4A wig, mostly 4A and it did an amazing job, better than my flat iron. I received this product last week and decided to try this straightening brush. I washed my hair and let it dry naturally before using the brush. I have naturally curly/frizzy hair of mixed textures that is difficult to control and straighten, especially if it hasn't been blow dried (and therefore partially straightened) first. I had very curly curly long hair, I like straight hair. After some research I bought this base because of the good reviews. I am following the directions for using this straightener but it pulls out a lot of hair. I was shocked. I tried to increase the fire, then it burned my hand and pulled out more hair. Let me start by saying that I am African American and it is very frustrating for me to wash my hair, blow dry and then iron it piece by piece, but don't get me not wrong, not right. Hair straightening but if you want to create a specific look you may need to add a finishing touch with flat irons but other than that it's perfect for my 3 year old daughter who has a sensitive head. After reading the reviews on it I really thought I would like it and that it would be quicker than using an iron . I actually have a hard time getting my hair as straight as a flat iron and I usually end up using my flat iron to finish it off.

This is the second MiroPure straightening brush I've tried and it's fantastic! I've never been able to use a flat iron properly as I have very thick, long, naturally curly hair. It usually took about two hours to do my hair, so I just never used it. These brushes are a godsend! It only takes me about 45 minutes from start to finish including drying time. Not only has this heated brush cut my time in half, it works fantastic! If you have fine hair like me, you'll need to hold the hair as it goes through the stubble, but I think those with thick hair can just run the brush through. Well it worked.
