So I bought this camera to avoid lugging around cables everywhere. I was excited to receive it. When it arrived I followed the instructions and tried to charge it. Initially I charged it for 12 hours. I was excited and wanted to try it even though it was still blinking. I plugged it in and it worked great with the charger. I figured it would charge in the FL sun the rest of the way after installation. I unplugged the charging cable and to my dismay the camera turned off. I thought maybe it needed to charge longer for some weird reason. So I plugged it back in and let it charge for 2 more days. After 2 days it was still blinking. I hate the hassle of returning it so I searched the internet and couldn't find anyone with a solution. In desperation, I unscrewed the solar panel's battery cover and found that the batteries were still wrapped in plastic and never charged. After removing the plastic everything works. The camera slows down a bit for 5 seconds, but otherwise everything is fine. I haven't installed it but will update after some use.
