We ordered two of these inexpensive, beautiful locks for our e-bikes so that we didn't have to lose keys despite the additional weight (due to the e-bike). factor) and a chain strong enough to at least repel fast bolt cutter attacks, such as at the grocery store. There are no instructions, all you get is a padlock. It's easy to understand that when it's open the plastic ring needs to be turned, dial your number and turn the ring back, but straight away on the first lock when I tried it I was able to get the numbers 4 and 5 with no problem program, but numbers 1-3 would not agree to any reprogramming. The other lock didn't have this problem, but we don't run the risk of getting stuck somewhere with a lock that won't open due to poor lock mechanics. Poor friction (rubber would be a good idea I think) Number rings make typing awkward and frustrating, and jingling chain links don't improve the experience either. We have returned these locks and will be looking for better ones even if they are more expensive.
