I bought this because I really needed something to extract files from the M.2 SATA SSD I was using as my boot drive before switching to SSD NVMe. Lesson learned (which I'll soon forget): Always back up any files you need from the old drive before replacing it. I'm really blown away by this M.2 SATA adapter decided to keep it on my computer and use my old M.2. SATA SSD as additional storage for casual games and files. The only downside I have with this adapter is that the circuit board could have been better secured to the metal frame.
