08/12/2019I wanted to update my rating. The seller contacted me and explained that the color change I see is normal for pure copper vessels. I am satisfied with the explanation and continue to use the jug every day. This is a very nice jug, as said, with a comfortable lid and a cool handle that is welded to the jug body, I think it's a good design element. The water is delicious, clear and in a pitcher and in a glass. I can only recommend this item and would buy it again as a gift. Aesthetically, it's a well-made and attractive pitcher. Despite the small, compact size, it holds more than a liter of water. The lid fits well, but it appears to be a different "copper" color than the body, so I'm not exactly sure what the material is. I've been using it for a little over a week now. On the second or third day I noticed streaks of discoloration on the inside that seem to correspond with the water level when filling. It didn't bother me at first, but as I keep using it and it's discoloring more and more, I'll be returning the item. I would like the seller to solve the problem and contact him if possible.
