Review on Deltana SAHW325U10B 8 Inch Projection Bumper by Delos Rodeo

I bought this to use in a windy area where the normal rubber door stops wedge under the door did not work. It seemed like the perfect solution. It's solid, looks well made and the door bumper was a bonus. I installed the hook/bumper on the wall and the eyelet on the door. Looks great. Unfortunately, the hook slips out of the eyelet as soon as the door closes. Even strong winds are unbearable. A little pressure on the door, and the hook up and down. I installed it exactly as shown in the picture with the hook parallel to the ground as it enters the eyelet. I'm wondering if I changed the angle so that the eye is a little lower if that works, but that would mean drilling new holes in either my wooden door or my concrete wall, and I'm not sure if I'm willing to do that. I'll update when I find out, but I can't recommend this product based on my experience. ***UPDATE*** 6/2016 I have used a product called Plastidip which is a rubberized coating in an aerosol can. (It's available here at Revain, but it was cheaper at my local orange shop.) I spray-painted the hook and eye and that seemed to fix the problem. Upgrading my rating from one star to three and hoping the Plastidip finish will stand the test of time.
