I had a point and shoot that after 4 years started causing problems. I decided to buy a new camera and wanted to upgrade from a point and shoot model to an advanced model. I chose a DSLR, but I didn't like the size. During that time I came across this camera and bought it based on reviews. I really liked the camera when I first started using it. I don't know much about DSLRs, but this one gives a nice feeling of having an advanced model in a compact size. If someone is looking to upgrade to an advanced point-and-shoot model, this camera is a solid choice. I uploaded a photo of a strawberry that I took on the product page, this camera really captures a lot of detail. But once you buy it, you need to take the time to understand its features in order for it to be worth the price. Otherwise just stick to the point and shoot. $700 is a lot of money for a camera that can be used as a main shooting point these days.
