Improved loading convenience, especially when using multiple devices. We have a combination of mini-USB, USB-C, and IOS devices in our household. This meant we needed 3 types of charging cables. Switching to this system works much better: you can charge any device with the same cable. Each device now has a permanently inserted magnetic connector. Now it only takes a few seconds to connect to the charging cable. The Galaxy Note 10 charges about twice as fast as a wireless charger.
