The blade is my main concern because of its ragged edge which is more likely to rip hairs than a close shave when used on long hair without a detachable head. The blade can be removed and replaced, but this requires a blade that fits the trimmer. In a separate case there is a lamp, tweezers and a mirror, useful for plucking hair that is difficult to cut. Never tried but very neat and well packaged. It also runs on batteries. I give 4 stars for versatility.
