I bought this for my bedroom in my RV to keep an eye on temperature and humidity. A person sleeps much better, which in turn creates a feeling of calm when waking up when the temperature and humidity are comfortable. The first thing you need to do is insert the supplied battery. The switches referenced in the instructions are on the screen, which is a touchscreen. It's pretty easy to set up. You choose C or F for the temperature measurement and decide whether you want to display the min & max for the last 24 hours or since the last reset. The current temperature and humidity readings are very easy to read with the right lighting, there is no backlight, but who needs to check the temperature and humidity in the dark. The rest of the numbers, being smaller, may or may not be easy to read depending on how close you need to get. It's on the bedside table by the bed so it's easy to see. I have it set to show me the ups and downs for the last 24 hours. I also left a plastic sheet on the screen. If you need to measure temperature and humidity and want to plan little space for this, then the LOAMO digital hygrometer is just right for you.
