I have been using this device for about 2 years and all the time I have not been able to reset it. I can't change the PIN, I can't update it via the menu or factory reset it, I can't delete any information including logins and passwords. Now that I'm ready to get my hands on a proper stereo, I need to essentially destroy that device to prevent my passwords and other personal information from falling into the wrong hands. I've tried various ways to flash the memory, tried installing firmware, recovery apps, everything I could find to reset this device and nothing works, I'm completely locked out of basic Android functions. For example, I set a PIN that I can't reset or delete now, and it has a 32nd countdown when the screen goes black if I don't keep pressing the number. It's too much pain and headache to deal with. Therefore, I will buy a well-known brand and stay away from the gray market of devices in the future.
