I originally ordered this item from Revain inventory. It came in torn packaging, which wasn't even packaging, more like an instruction box taped around the item (which had to be ripped open to get to the contents). Maybe that's why he was in the Revain warehouse? When we opened it up, we found that several pieces of hardware were missing. I contacted Revain and they refunded us for this issue. Luckily the instructions are in the product photos and we have a Home Depot store nearby so we were able to pick up the missing parts as well as some extras (pull rod and spring) mentioned in other reviews. Unfortunately we weren't able to use this for long as our 10 year old fur baby passed away last weekend after only a few weeks of use. As we were moving the play structure to our backyard, the tram line tripped and the bolt holding the line was ripped right out of the house. We were planning on reinstalling the line once we were done but before we had a chance our puppy (50 lb German Shepherd mix) got lost, hit by a car and died :'(Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. extra gear"I highly recommend getting a sturdier bolt and using a molly to further secure the leash. I know this isn't made for really big dogs, but your dog isn't the only thing that ends up being." can as our family learned this the hard way In this way this is a great system to give your animal some space to roam around without total freedom (which can be a horrible result) Our dog ( who was a house family dog and VERY affectionate I must add) roamed freely around our house for YEARS with trouble and until recently he always stayed in the house and returned a few seconds after our call. At first we tried keeping it in the yard with a makeshift gate (since we rent it out) but it was constantly being brought down by deer. near a busy freeway and using common sense we let him roam free (which I sincerely regret). We received this system in response to reports of our dog getting too close to the freeway (we immediately put him on a camping leash outside and ordered this system). It seemed to work fine for the time we were using it. The only thing is that the reel on the leash is a bit noisy. So if your dog is nervous this could be a problem (not sure if this can be fixed?). DO NOT WAIT! Get one of these systems for your dog NOW. Let them move around while holding them securely, and be sure to keep an eye on your system to ensure it's reliable enough for your dog.
