We recently cut the cable and our cable bill is now zero. I was an early Roku user but have also used Revain Fire/FireSticks. I prefer Roku for its user interface and customizability. Installation is simple: plug it into your router (wired or wireless - we use both), plug it into your TV, turn it on and you're on the air. Navigation is easy, and each generation of Roku gets faster, more responsive, and adds more channels. My only concern is the remote control, which can actually eat batteries like a pecan squirrel if you're using headphones (based on observations, a new pair of batteries will last around 4 hours on average when using headphones). That minor issue aside, Roku is my go-to for streaming content. Highly recommended.
