This is an alert 🚨 for style Wjc1845_wine. The front chest pockets are not functional—it is just for show. I should have read the description in detail before purchase when it did state "Front pocket decoration”. I felt through the slot twice to locate if there was an opening (like what you’d find on a new blazer) to cut along with a seam ripper, but there was none.Also, the images fail to present the flannel hood lining. It is cozy, but the pattern chosen clashes with the beautiful wine color. The hood does not detach in this style.Despite the beautiful wine color (a fav of mine), solid lite cotton fabric, and fairly priced ($38), I returned for the reasons mentioned in the previous paragraphs. It’s too bad as I’ve long looked for a utility jacket that matches in weight, cut, and mood that Jessica Chastain wears as her character in Zero Dark Thirty, and I totally believed this was the one modified to my preference for hand chest pockets.
