does not work but I contacted their support again and they were quick to respond to my concerns that the product was non-defective was and you suggested that I add another intermediate device that powers the device. The support team sent a prototype circuit designed to deliver this performance and when I received it I hooked it up and the device worked as expected. The support team has been great and the product has worked well so far and I can now use my iPhone Xs wirelessly via Bluetooth and adjust the volume using the steering wheel controls. Completely satisfied with the product.
