I bought a pair of these to replace my 12v AC wall converters They hard wire directly into the RV 12v DC system. Be sure to install a fuse suitable for the connected device. I use a voltmeter to check the + and - wires and match them to the pinout of the device I'm connecting. (As far as I remember, the wire with the most markings is the center pole, which is usually the + (but not always) terminal. Easy to cut, trim, and splice because of the two-strand cable. Single-strand cables require too much patience and persuasion to separate and isolate the wire-in-wire design.
