My kids and I hated this printer. It's totally unreliable. Wireless is spotty at best and somehow manages to periodically lose our network and then seemingly add it back despite showing up in the list of available networks. In addition, sometimes it seems that we have a network and it just doesn't print. It shows a signal and the computer indicates that the document has been sent, but nothing happens. Sometimes a document prints a few hours after my students are late for an assignment they couldn't print. It requires constant improvement. The paper output tray is of terrible construction, it keeps jamming no matter how carefully it is handled. The printer will not start if the tray is not in the correct position, causing the printer to shut down. It doesn't turn on when a document is sent to it wirelessly, so extra work is required to ensure it's on. This printer also eats ink. He goes through the ink like crazy! We print most of our products in black and white. I find that we print a moderate to small number of documents per month and yet the ink seems to need constant replacement. We don't even bother to print photos on this printer. Apart from the ink consumption mentioned above, the quality of the photos is simply abysmal. I totally regret buying this printer and would return it if I could for a different printer. I didn't buy this printer from Revain, but I know this is the place I go when I want to know how something really works. , so I'm looking again in the hopes of sparing someone else the anxiety we get when we try to type something.
