There are two 71.5 models. One is in Kilograms(kg) and the other in Pounds (lbs) they both add up to 71.5lbs. I ordered my set of two dumbbells through the used Walmart warehouse option. I received two separate beat up boxes, which is why they were discounted. When I opened the boxes I saw that the KG versions’ dial was difficult to turn and it looked used, and the side and upper sticker were coming off. This KG version also had a bumpy grip like you see in the professional images used in promoting these. The other dumbbell was in Pounds (lbs), it looked new, the shifting of the dial was easier to turn and the grip has a hexagonal pattern. I had no option in requesting which version I could receive from Walmart warehouse so it was a shot in the dark. Maybe ordering them new would help out? Who knows? It seems like the KG version is an older model and the LBs version is newer. I returned the defective KG version to Walmart, got a refund and reached out to the manufacture describing the issue, and my search for another Lbs version. They got back to me in less than a day and helped me out! INCREDIBLE customer service. There must be a lot of old KG versions that have given them and customers issues because you can clearly see the upgrade in quality in the LBs version. An annoyance to return them, but resolving the issue and helping me find what I needed, I’m beyond grateful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
