I felt a noticeable reduction in wind noise. They seem to be most efficient at lower speeds, maybe down to 15 mph or so. As you approach the 20s, they reduce wind noise, but there's still quite a bit of residual noise. If you can get them out of your head a bit you can see how much they still do, but at high speeds don't expect them to magically eliminate turbulence. They stayed for a few minutes. You'll have to adjust the straps a bit to account for the extra bulk, but it's not a big deal. It is highly recommended to wash them frequently as they will soak up the sweat on your face.
