Review on Objecto Humidifier Matching Control Therapy by Tressy Rakowiecka

I live in the desert and need moisture. I purchased this item from Costco. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Beautiful design improves humidity in dry environments - it really works! Relatively quiet for a humidifier. Cons: Very expensive for what it is, there are no instructions anywhere on how to clean it, although the instructions say it should be cleaned at least 2 times a week. RESIDUES ON EVERY SURFACE OF MY APARTMENT! Conclusion: the water where I live is very hard, but the instructions say you have to use tap water. Maybe that's why the sediment is so bad? The instructions say not to use with distilled water. who knows why? But maybe I just have to give it up. The amount of dust/debris on every surface of my apartment is INSANE. I don't think it can be healthy to inhale all that. I think we need to find something with a filter. :-/
