Diabetic shoes are hard to find and expensive. Typically you want to find shoes where each step is cushioned by the heel first to avoid additional forefoot friction where blisters and eventually open sores can form. I've had prescriptions for Brooks and similar shoes in the past, but these pairs can cost upwards of $100. These shoes are so affordable for the same purpose but good value and very well made. They are very light and I feel like I can wear them all day without any problems. I wouldn't wear them on a rainy day as they soak up every drop of falling water or if you step in puddles, but if you do, toss them in the dryer and they dry quickly. I would highly recommend them and look forward to buying more colors in the near future!
