Do not use the green connector unless you have a special device that can use it. Almost everything is designed for 5 volts and no more than 2.4 amperes of charging power. The green contact charges faster because it changes voltage from 9 volts to 1 volt. My Samsung S9 phone was working fine until I tried it on the green pen. Toast now - the display is dead but still vibrating.
