Review on Shapely Nickel Plated Decorative Trays by Chucky Hepler

I bought these trays to serve as bases for gift baskets and they work great for that purpose. They are fairly light but strong (easily support the weight of several heavy jars of jams and sauces and pastries) and very pretty to look at. I'm sure the recipients of the gift baskets will be able to use them later as a serving tray. The only reason I took off a star is because of their size. I should have known that "12" was supposed to include the "rim"/tray edge, but I was still a little disappointed to see that they were a bit smaller than I thought. You can assume that the manufacturer or seller will list the *useful* length of the tray, not just "total/including rim". That's exactly 10 inches if you're wondering, and the widest usable width is 6.5 inches. I know this information would be very useful to me, otherwise the tray is beautiful again.
