I know these shoes are cheap so I wasn't expecting high quality at all but my son wore them for 30 minutes to a house in his to open school and had to take them off in the car on the way home because his legs hurt so much. The mesh/stretch material looked and felt really comfortable, but the sides of the shoes are hard plastic and while it didn't lace up the boots too tightly, the plastic was putting too much pressure and causing pain. The size was right and he didn't have a wide foot. They also came in a plain clear plastic bag, with no box or anything. Finally send her back.
