I'm 26 years old, 1.60m tall and I train in MMA. I bought 14 ounces because 16 ounces can be overwhelming at times. At 14 ounces I can punch longer and feel more contact on the punch. My favorite feature is the mesh on the inside of the palm. Holy cow, gloves can get rough and smelly, but I have high hopes for them! Decent wrist brace, I always wear bandages underneath. Haven't used them too much on a heavy bag just for percussion practice. I am currently not training as hard as I used to, I have been training 5 days a week for 2-3 hours per session for 2 years. I've been on hiatus for the past two years to recover from the accident and have gradually returned to training. We have never used gloves but now I'm in a different place and I'm happy with my first personal pair.
