Be sure to match the length to the old one. One end is screwed in and out. Hard to tell as it was almost closed and looking fine until I attached the window and it was 1/8 inch longer. Also, some work was required to fit the new mounting stud (metal) into the existing plastic window nut. want to cross the thread. Eventually I just kept walking and it dragged on enough to get me up and working. It would be great if they added new nuts for the window. The build quality doesn't match the OE damper and took more effort and about an hour longer to fit, but they are included and work with a strong impact.
