Quick and easy assembly of lifting legs

Comes with all assembly hardware. There is no need to use old bolts and washers. Install the bolts into the vehicle first, then slide the lift cylinders back into place. Check old lift cylinders after removal. Usually only one fails and you can keep the remaining one as a spare. You can tell which is defective by the leaking oil or by the lack of resistance when pressing. Mine fitted a 1997 Honda CRV perfectly.

Shortcomings

Roads look fine but the kit comes with two swivels that you need to connect to your vehicle. My 2001 Honda CRV requires four pivots. So you can't install them unless you take a hacksaw to the old supports and cut out the joints, which is a lot of work. Considering the time it took to install them I should have just bought a genuine Honda part which included the hardware I needed and cost $150.

"Almost " my 99 CRV is too long.

Be sure to match the length to the old one. One end is screwed in and out. Hard to tell as it was almost closed and looking fine until I attached the window and it was 1/8 inch longer. Also, some work was required to fit the new mounting stud (metal) into the existing plastic window nut. want to cross the thread. Eventually I just kept walking and it dragged on enough to get me up and working. It would be great if they added new nuts for the window. The build quality doesn't match the OE damper
