Professional oil paints like these are definitely different than using cheap water based paints you buy at the store. I was ahead of some of the other reviewers who used similar colors years ago when I was helping my dad throw children's parties as a clown. So I knew that usually after applying the colors you want to use a powder to set them in place and you need something like a cold cream to remove them. However, the result is MUCH brighter and more colorful than with water-based paints. My only complaint is that you can't get enough of each color because oil paints aren't that effective in terms of the area you can paint over. single pallet.
