Not very grippy for sewing
These mats are not as tacky/tacky as Cricut mats when new. Adhesion is more like Cricut after using them a few times. As for the lightweight grip mat, that's a bit of a concern as I doubt it will be useful for very long. If you prefer a mat that isn't very sticky, this is a good choice.
