This O2 Sensor fixes P0136 for my 2001 Forester with 213,000 miles old the I sensor with liquid key carefully removed old sensor, ordered this sensor and waited a few days for delivery. It then took another 1/2 hour to install the new sensor, screwing it in 1 turn, backing it out 1/3 turn to clean the threads. I then drove the car about 75 miles and all the IM test readiness lights were set and it passed the CA emissions again! Well! And for $31 for replacing the catalytic converters and the 2nd sensor. Apparently these parts were still in order. The bad sensor looked like it was contaminated by coolant leaks and eventually gave a code P0136 - the heads were replaced at about 160,000 miles.
