I bought this pen holder after reading many reviews: glad I had more space than I needed as I was planning to use the ultra thin sharpies and Tombow markers with my fineliner colored pencils to keep. Felt tip pens and tombow markers fit with a slight stretch. I also recommend leaving a space every 3rd or 4th marker if needed. Fineliner pens are perfect as they are as thin as Crayola crayons. The tape keeps them firmly in place. The reason I gave it 4 stars is as you can see from my photos I had a small area of one of my strips where three pockets merged into one larger one. I found that there were several spots along the strap where the ends of the strings were sticking out. All in all, the case makes a well-made impression and I think that it is perfectly suited for my purposes.
