Review on Soldering Gun Tip with Weller RCT Technology for Effortless Rope Cutting by Kendriece Figueroa

I use this in my 40 year old Weller 8200 which is currently accepting peaks. with a sharp blade, and then I burn the ends with a kitchen torch or small torch. With the RCT, I lay rope on a piece of scrap wood, hold a piece of scrap metal over the cut as a cutting guide, heat the gun for about 30 seconds on the first click, and cut along the metal. I then use the flat side of the RCT to clean up any loose strands and seal the edges. I also use a small fan to blow fumes out of my face and put on a 3M OV filter mask.
