Really helps with metal allergies
These hooks are smaller than standard ear hooks but much better for children and people with metal allergies. My daughter was battling an infection a few weeks after she got her ears pierced. Changing the type of decoration did not help. It helped. The infection eventually went away on its own within 2 weeks of application. We all replaced her dangling earrings with these. The only downside is that the earring hole is plastic so you need adapter rings to connect them together. But that's not a problem, just something to keep in mind.
