THIS REVIEW REPLACES A PREVIOUSLY POSTED NEGATIVE REVIEW TITLED "NOT WORKING". The problem wasn't with the remote, it was me. I put one of the batteries in the wrong way, so of course it didn't work. After I fixed this Simple Simon error, the remote worked fine. Although this remote is made by a third party, not Roku, I think it works just as well as the original. This was a great relief as the original remote was gone and rendered my TV unusable. The hard drive replacement remote control is very affordable, looks almost exactly the same and performs the same functions as the original remote control. Just insert the batteries correctly. sure and you're ready to go. No settings, no settings, no codes and no worries. If you need a replacement remote for your Roku TV, you can't go wrong. I've just ordered a glow in the dark cover or display and what appears to be a sturdy bracelet that attaches to it to ensure it's easy to find and hard to lose. Good product, good price, good to know.
