Review on ๐Ÿงฟ Large Traditional Bead Loom Kit for Cousins by Carol Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not for beginners (in my opinion). And I'm new, so I'll know!

I really like this loom but it is a headache to set it up, especially for a beginner like me. I learned on Rick's bead loom and it's a very different animal. My suggestion: grab an inexpensive thread and just practice tweaking your themes until you can keep them going. Otherwise you (like me) lose a lot of valuable strings in the learning process. After almost rewinding two spools of Fire Line I finally figured out how to not only adjust it to my standards but also how to rewind the line onto the Fire Line spool, if I'm wrong and need to rethread the bobbin thread. Loom. It takes patience and I almost lost mine. Several times I had a vision of myself throwing it against a nearby wall. But I stayed with him and am now working on a huge seventeen beads per line project. Also, I should add that this works better with small beads than big ones. It says not to skip rows in the directions given, but I've heard instruction videos let you skip rows to accommodate larger beads if needed, so that might be a user choice of sorts. It comes with a small package. black and white beads and a small pack of colored beads, a small spool of thread, needles and instructions. It requires some assembly, but it's not hard at all. You may need help tightening the wing nuts on each pulley. if you don't have good grip strength but don't want them to be too tight as they are designed to allow you to make adjustments as you work.
