This was my first attempt at a loom. The instructions for setting up the loom itself were clear. The guide on how to start weaving was pretty good. I watched a few videos on YouTube to help me feel confident about braiding. My first tip is to throw away the beads that came with the loom. They were terrible. I really like this loom but it is a headache to set it up, especially for a beginner like me. I learned on Rick's bead loom and it's a very different animal. My suggestion: grab an inexpensive thread and just practice tweaking your themes until you can keep them going. Otherwise you (like me) lose a lot of valuable strings in the learning process.
