Salt bought for a water softener for Bosch dishwashers. The product is good but quite expensive in my opinion. Another confusing thing is that the Bosch dishwasher instructions don't tell you exactly how much salt to use, nor do the videos and online resources. Our dishwasher cleans very well with a small amount of soap (the amount is indicated in the instructions). Our last dishwasher was riddled with limescale and deposits and was completely out of order. We couldn't clean it with vinegar, citric acid, a scraper and many other methods, so we opted for a dishwasher with a water softener in the hope that this would avoid problems in the future.
