Joggers "OK " fit Clothing

I thought I'd like them given the many good reviews. I was torn as to which size to get. I'm a normal medium, but when it comes to jogging pants, I like baggy pants. Some reviewers noted that the stretcher is quite roomy and even quite large. So I went with the average. I think a large one would be better but I don't plan on reordering for the following reasons: Although I liked that these pants can be worn with both a high waist and a lower waist, the band that goes around the waist is really thick and a bit tight which is good since I have a few without strings. So they are safe and do not slip down. But because I have endometriosis, my abdominal area can become very tender, so this thick, tight band tends to make me uncomfortable, even when I wear it high or below my usual swollen abdomen. The length seems perfect. I'm the type who likes things to be a little below my ankles, but they have to be perfectly around my ankles. Most likely, the plus size offers extra length + roominess + loose fit around the waist. The fabric inside is a bit spiky/rough. The smell doesn't help either. It has the same new smell, only stronger. And the smell stayed after washing. I'll probably have to double the detergent and fabric softener for the next wash. I don't put them in the dryer, I let them dry otherwise they risk shrinking. will i wear them Sure, but they're not going to be my favorite pair of sweatpants. For reference, here are my measurements: Height: 5.3 inches Weight: 120 pounds
