This is 1/4 inch thick flexible mesh.
This is a soft flexible 1/4 inch mesh I bought to wrap the ends of my utility ducts with water heater mesh. I didn't want to block the airflow, but I did want to prevent the little critters from getting into the cabinets through the pipes. In the closet I found loose insulation and some dead bats. It worked correctly. I've found metal mesh will also work, but is stiff and more difficult to work with as it cuts my hands severely. need gloves.
