Connector does not latch properly

Electrical connector will not "snap" into place because the small tab it is supposed to snap into is too far back. The light works well but the plug is unreliable and can easily detach from the metal pins. When testing mine, all it took was a small movement to break the electrical connection. I fixed this and secured the fork by drilling a tiny hole in the bar, threading thin wire through it and wrapping it around the fork.
