🚨 DNA Motoring LED Third Brake Light for 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon XL Review

My Tahoe failed the test because stupid LED brake light didn't work, sometimes it didn't work, when tested, ordered, installed, works great, super bright! Somewhat awkward assembly due to the factory rubber lining around the sunroof, but that's not the seller's fault, just the design of the car, overall a great touch!

Since the brake light does not allow bulb replacement, you have to buy a ready-made unit. The lamp arrived on time and without damage. It literally took me 10 minutes to remove the old headlight and replace it with a new one. This headlight shines much better than the original. I recommend this product to replace your old light.

This is SUPER easy to install. As others have said, there is a connection issue. This is actually not a real fork but a piece of plastic that attaches the clip to the fork. THIS IS AN EASY SOLUTION! Take a paring knife and cut the length of the clip tab in the light by a very small fraction. Hope this light lasts for a while! It was on Yukon Denali 05.

Really, it's my fault for buying that cheap junk. There is no quality control here. The connector plugs are bent to the side, the tab that secures the plug is too long for the plug to not reach the latch, and the edge of the plastic is sharp enough to slice tomatoes. To top it off, it doesn't even light up! I will not even return or ask for a replacement. Lesson learned.

Electrical connector will not "snap" into place because the small tab it is supposed to snap into is too far back. The light works well but the plug is unreliable and can easily detach from the metal pins. When testing mine, all it took was a small movement to break the electrical connection. I fixed this and secured the fork by drilling a tiny hole in the bar, threading thin wire through it and wrapping it around the fork.

Let me tell you a little story. My wife went to our Tahoe's annual inspection and we were informed that the light was off. No problem, we'll walk to the auto parts store across the street. Yes, they didn't have the part in stock and wanted $157 for it! While they explained that this light would cost the same everywhere, I downloaded my Amazon app and found this little baby for a fraction of the cost. The light came in the mail 2 days later and I installed it in under 5 minutes. IT WORKS GREAT…
