The product works well outside the fridge but not very well inside. Using another thermometer to check what it reads, it was off a lot, 25-30 degrees. Outside the refrigerator is better within 1-2 degrees. Maybe I just have a bad block. It was needed in the fridge so I ended up getting another brand that fit. Upgraded to 1 star, immediately after closing the return window, the device stopped working, replaced the battery, worked 1 day and died again, threw it in the bin. Don't waste money.
