My 2009 Scion TC started to lose oil even though I haven't driven it for a couple of weeks because I've just been sitting at home. I inspected and tightened the oil drain plug and oil filter, but the leak was still there. I was positive it was the oil drain plug because there was black dirt under the oil pan when I wiped it off with a paper towel. I've been using the same drain plug since 2014 and didn't want to get a new one so I bought these washers. I changed the oil and oil filter and put a washer on the drain plug and then tightened it up well. I was a little worried it wouldn't work but it's been a few months now and there are no more oil stains in my garage.
