Review on Max-Air Adjust Shock Absorber - Monroe MA709 by Bryan Aleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Monroe Max doesn't quite fit Maverick

Fits 76 Ford Mavericks. They come from numerous production facilities and fit in many vehicles. mine were black or a big puck. Luckily I saved some extra parts from one of our other cars, but I had to rummage through a bucket of used parts to find the right nut. Installed these shocks in 10 minutes. It took 30 minutes to fix the missing hardware issue. Open the box before you get started.*** Also of particular note is that due to the versatility of the Maverick, the air intake location may not be the right one. At least not the ones I got. The ports either face forward or backward depending on what you choose. or close to the ground under the back seat. I opted for the back seat instead of melting the plastic tube. Not impressed. Perhaps HiJackers is a better choice, although I believe they are owned by the same company.
