I used to have a case with a loop and was looking for something similar where the loop went with an eraser. I really hoped this was the answer for me. But it was too tight on my finger to be comfortable in holding for long periods of time. It probably needs to be set at an angle in order for it to actually work properly, similar to the hinge angle on a hinge body. But it's very difficult to know exactly how you're going to use it, so I'm sure that most people install it straight from the top down. After only 2 months of use it has stretched and gotten dirty - I can't imagine the germs on this gum! On the plus side, it was easy to install and I had no issues with adhesion. But it was hard to get rid of! I flossed as recommended and it was almost impossible to break off. Also, the transparent part I installed underneath left sticky marks all over my phone case and I had to use Goo Gone to remove those.
