I have replaced the brakes, turn signals and reverse lights on three of my cars. I bought them as a backup because they were cheaper. What mistake. I actually bought these for my Mazda3 by mistake, the 7440 is too big for 3 so thought I'd try them on my Mazda MX-5. He climbed under the car, took off the old headlight, put in a new one, went to install it, and it came into the body. I thought I screwed it up. It became a great agony getting in there and removing the case so I could pull the bulb out. I tried both bulbs in both versions. they will not be fully seated. No matter how hard I squeeze them. I put the old bulbs back in and felt they were fully seated. Do not buy these lamps.
