Review on MaxMiles Accessories Handlebar Extension Flashlight by Steven Pankey

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a fan - Poor clamp assembly

Not really a fan of this product. I was impressed right away at the gate. Nice retail packaging and I thought everything looked good. Then I removed the brackets, they seem decent. However, the handlebar itself is so light that it feels like very cheap territory. In addition, the quality of the resin impregnation is very poor. Look at the picture where I've circled one of the many "holes" in the product. I could live with an inferior candy bar, after all it only keeps the light on. However, I can't live with the crappy editing setup. The clamp is designed to push against the extension side when tightening the handlebar side. They must be completely separate. It gets really wobbly with custom tapered handlebars. Then there are spacers. They only have an anti-slip edge on one side. This means they can be easily extruded. Not worth sending back, but don't buy again. ***My Rating Criteria*** 5 Stars: Works Exactly As Advertised, Fit/Finish Is What You Expect When Buying This Type Of Product And It Is Good Value For Money 4 Stars: Works Exactly As Advertised, Fit/Finish Is What There may be a small flaw you would expect when purchasing this type of product 3 stars: Works generally, but I would change a few things OR the product works great but differs from the description/picture 2 stars: Barely works, but might be helpful if you try 1 star: useless, doesn't perform intended function and is generally a waste of money
