Update: After a few weeks of use we are happy to report that this FM transmitter is working properly. Since my car radio does not have an additional audio connection, I decided to use an FM transmitter. After seeing what was available I bought a Nulaxy KM18. I received the KM18 with no defects or flaws. Good packaging. Installation was easy. Working with my iPhone was easy. I connected my iPhone to this unit using the included aux audio cable. I noticed a hum and hiss right to the music. I tried different radio frequencies but the hiss and buzz didn't go away. I thought it might be a hiss from my car's electrical system. I unplugged the dash cam as it was plugged in next to the KM18 in the cigarette lighter. That helped. Then I disconnected my iPhone from KM18 and changed my phone from KM18 via USB port. It also helped reduce background noise. I've found that the 91.9 FM radio frequency works best for me in my tired city. I have no transmitter drift or interference and very little or no hiss and hum when driving. Next I will try to get rid of the iPhone and use the micro SD card slot. Testing this device at home with a 120VAC to 12VDC converter showed that all functions work properly. So far I am happy with this purchase.
