I have just ordered another of these cases. About a week ago my 3 year old knocked my iPad off the armrest of the chair and it landed on the tile floor. I had one of these covers but removed it from the cover and keyboard combo that I need to protect on the back. Fearing the worst, I checked the screen and sure enough, it had a diagonal crack. I thought it was a cracked iPad screen and looked at the incredibly expensive screen repair costs. At the outrageous price I found I considered replacing the iPad and was equally disappointed. I then went to amazon.com to read reviews of the screen covers because I was very disappointed. Reading some of the bad reviews reminded me that the screen protector is also glass and this led me to believe that the crack might not be on the screen. I started removing the screen protector and was relieved to find that it did the job and my screen was intact.
