Review on Assassin III Premium CPU Cooler with Twin Towers, πŸ”₯ 7 Heatpipes, and Dual 140mm PWM Fans by DEEP COOL by Anson Chen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Cooler is great. Hot stones cools perfectly (most likely). I have an intel core i5-9600k. I did not carry out tests and loads in full in benchmarks. Specifications of my hardware: 1. Intel Core I5-9600K 2. MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 3. OP from patriot 2 dies of 16 GB each 4. Mother Gigabyte Z399 Aurus Pro WiFi 5. This cooler 6. E-shield case (there are no fans to blow air in; it costs only 1 fan to blow out) However, interesting results were obtained. On photos. In the first case, the PUBG game is running at maximum graphics settings. Monitor 1280*1024. Running before the start of the flight, I somehow managed to see the processor load at 100%. The temperature was about 60 Β° (there is no evidence, because I could not fix it). If I had 120mm fans in my case for blowing, then the temperature of the processor would probably be 55 Β°, but this will need to be checked. However, the video card also works at 100-nu (in my case, if the lid is closed, then at 100% load, the temperature rises above 83 Β°, so then I opened the lid and the temperature dropped to 62 Β°, sort of) In the second picture, I'm installing the game Batman Arkham Night, and at the beginning of the installation of this game, the percentage is 100% loaded. The video card was practically not loaded, which is why the maximum temperature of the processor was 53 Β° (you can see everything yourself). Bottom line: this cooler is a great and inexpensive solution to the problem of cooling a hot stone. On the processor with the case closed, my maximum temperature was 60Β°, which is a great result. Therefore, I advise you to buy this cooler. Personally, I am very happy with my choice.

Pros
  • Great for cooling hot rocks (I hope the i5-9600k can be considered a hot rock at TDP=95W) Quiet. However, if you artificially make the fans spin faster (by 100%), then it will be quite noisy.
Cons
  • Many people complain about the heaviness of the assembly. I experienced a similar experience when I rebuilt my PC the first 3 times. Then everything became easy. So for myself, I did not find any shortcomings.
